In the Andes region, where I live, there is an ongoing fight over the use of water, which is a scarce common shared resource. The mining and oil companies that profit from the indiscriminate use of water want to settle in the region to take everything in exchange for leaving pollution and misery. Well, we will not let them do it. Throughout the country, citizens are organizing themselves into environmental assemblies to defend the place they live on. Here we do the same, with considerable success, by the way.
