In the world, wine is made from some 4,000 different grape varieties, but 95% of the wine that people drink comes from those 15 varieties that we all know well. With the ever-present idea of expanding the narrow field of the wine world, I look for varietals that are atypical for my country and then I vinify them. I started with this exploratory idea in 2013 and have since vinified Corvina, Nero d’Avola, Croatina, Caladoc, Tannat, Ancellota, Verdicchio, Dolcetto, Fer Servadou, Canela, Patricia, Emperatriz, Malvina, Serna, Argentina, Carignan, Greco Nero and some more.
